Name: Elissa Velluto

Occupation: Senior Accessories Editor, Glamour Magazine

Style icon: Carolyn Bessette, chic and to-the-point

One thing you never leave home without: All of my tiny stacked gold rings and my iphone

Favorite vacation destination: Tie between Parrot Cay and Carneros Ranch in Napa Valley

Trends you’re loving right now: I loved all of the graphic polka dots from resort! The Fendi accessories were playful but still pulled together.

Where do you find inspiration?: My pools of inspiration are always evolving. I have never found it when I try to summon it on the spot. But, if I had to pin something down, I would say my greatest inspiration comes from listening to people tell personal stories. My co-workers say I should have been a therapist; I am so curious about the fabric of other people’s lives, and if they are willing to share, the inspiration can be boundless.

Favorite piece of jewelry: I have two favorites: one is my dad's gold signet ring and the other is my grandmother's wedding band. I am very sentimental about jewelry.

What you’re listening to right now: I'm a little spastic with my music, Beirut to Ariana Grande and everything in between!

Latest splurge: Mules from The Row.

Best jewelry/accessories advice: Always check the underbelly of a piece of jewelry. The manner in which a piece is finished on the interior is as important as the ways it is finished on the exterior.

Being an editor seems very glamorous with all the shows and traveling. What’s your favorite fashion week memory?: After the Prada show, one season in Milan, I brought a straight off the runway look to Ibiza for a shoot with Kate Moss. That was very memorable!
